SuPhp Experiment Short Lived

So I tried to use suphp on my servers the last week or so. I had even fully converted my main server to it. But I noticed average resource usage was way higher, sites loaded a lil bit slower, and at times when the server was busy it would just lag. The load would get up to 15-20 and all that so I just said screw it.

I know suphp provides some great security and resource tracking but you would need a hell of a server to run it full time with busy clients. We have good servers, core2dup/2gb ram and it still made it lag. So I switched back to nobody and average load dropped way down. So I sent out another email to all my clients today all like disregard my last mail.

On another note Im getting a lil frustrated with logging on this new http server litespeed. Its a fair trade off because its so fast and resource conservative but I cant even find an access log on my directadmin servers. Im sure Ill figure it out. Another thing is the vhost config feature, it worked when I first installed it but after reinstall and a couple of upgrades it doesnt no more.

Litespeed is an awesome server and will always have my full support, I just think some things could be different to make things more handy and useful for admins. Im sure they will get it 100% soon.
