Figured these may be useful to someone, I know I still use these from time to time on new server setups. With these newer kernels it doesnt hurt to try different versions. I know on some of the newer version grsec kernels dont agree with some things. For example some will oops on ident daemons and a few other things I noticed. 2.6.19.2 is the latest stable but I get tons of errors in some servers about those. So I dont know. I think quite a few things changed in the 2.6.19 tree. Now the 2.6.18.2 is probably the most stable and compatible of them all but Im not sure if there are any exploits for it seeing as that version been out a good while.
